Attendees sign-up in advance to participate in a large communal pop-up dinner to be held in a public space in Salem. At noon on the day of the event, registrants will receive an email telling them where everyone will meet that evening. At 5:00 and no earlier, diners arrive with the full complement of items needed for an elegant outdoor meal (tables, chairs, food, candles, hats, etc). Drinks and sharing of hors d’oevres until 6:30 and then the meal begins. At the strike of 8:00, cleanup begins and everything is taken away without a trace of having been there.
